If you read my BEING TRANSPARENT post (if you haven’t, you should go read it lol) you would know I just started on this health/fitness journey. I just want to be a better, healthier version of myself. I don’t want to drop too much weight, I just want to be happy with how I look in my clothes (and actually fit them lol), tone up and be in shape.
It took me a while to come up with a name for this series. Huge thank you those who gave me ideas and answered my Instastories when I asked for help.
I am going to be doing this challenge from September through January, right before my birthday and I will be taking you guys along. I sat down recently and mapped out the foods I was trying to cut out or cut back on, how often I was going to exercise and so on. I will be tracking my progress and give updates mid month and at the end of the month. I will also be weighing and measuring myself in the beginning and end of the month.
For September, I will be trying out meal prepping. I have tried before in the past and I think it would help me stick to what I’m supposed to be eating. My biggest thing is portion control. I am always hungry and just will eat until I am full (which is rare lol) or very close to it. I just want to eat the right amounts and not feel so hungry. Each week I am going to try out different meals and snacks to see what works for me. I will also be working out 2-3 times a week and starting off slow with the workouts.
This is going to be a work in progress and I know things do not happen overnight. I know this is a step in the right direction to getting my healthy and feeling better about myself, well I just want to fit in my clothes lol. I know it is going to be hard staying away from certain foods and the struggle of making time to work out but I’m determined to get on track and make this happen.
