Can you believe it is already September but Summer is not officially over until the 22nd of this month so hold off on the pumpkin spice lol. It just seems like each year they rush the holidays and I am not ready, I am still trying to soak up the last bits of Summer while it is still here. I’m not a fan as you can read of rushing things but you all might want to know what will be trending this Fall in the fashion world.
So I did a search and this Fall it is about more expressive textural style that balances structural tailoring with playful proportions and rich, earthy colors. I was so excited when I read this as I am trying to build my wardrobe and style and this Fall sounds like it will be amazing to be a fashion girly or guy. Let’s get into what else will be trending.
Modern And Soft Tailoring

The big and boxy trend is out and more fitted and softer fits are in and I am here for it. I love a good tailored blazer that will go with my everyday work entire or for a night out and slacks or trousers for everyday. I cannot wait to see how people will style this trend.
Playful Proportions

I feel like this has always been in style but more of a focus this Fall. I love seeing playful silhouettes and outfits on different body types and figures. It just makes putting on clothes more fun. I actually want to get my hands on one of those ballon skirts or shorts and pair it with something sleek.
Dark Wash Wide Leg Denim

Denim is always going to be in and love that there is a focus on the dark wash. It just screams Fall to me and love a good dark wash jean. I haven’t been a fan of the wide leg style but willing to try it out.
Heavy Texture

When I think of Fall fashion, I think of wearing knit, tweed and those types of textures and it would be very on point with the trend this Fall. Most people tend to wear the heavy textures and mix them with soft fabrics for an amazing contrast.
Leather And Suede

These two never go out of style and just perfect for this Fall trend. They are such great staple pieces as jackets, skirts, shoes and other wardrobe pieces. I can’t wait to incorporate these into my everyday looks.
Animal Prints

So animal prints are always in year round but are very fitting for this Fall season. You can use animal prints as a neutral or to add a pop of something to an outfit. I honestly need more animal prints in my wardrobe.
The colors for this Fall are rich neutrals and earth tones such as chocolate browns, charcoal gray, deep navy and moss green. Also there is a trend of cherry red and royal purple in the mix too which is just perfect for Fall.
I’m excited for Fall and for these fashion trends. Will you be rocking any of these trends? Let’s chat.
