You know I still can’t over it being September already and we are in full back to school and people rushing Fall mode. I couldn’t believe that the Pumpkin Spice drinks were out in August and now all places are in full Fall mode and it is technically still Summer until the 22nd. I say that I don’t rush the seasons and stuff but as a creator, do I have to keep up with everyone else? People were starting to post about Fall as early as late August and I feel I’ll be late to the party again when Fall officially starts. Like I said, I don’t like rushing things but do I have to keep up to stay in the loop?

And speaking of staying in the loop, it just feels that way in general and seems like if you go too much against the grain, you are not seen or pushed out as much. There are so many trends and new products that you basically have to jump to do or review as soon as you see them but it can be hard for those who don’t have it in their budget or works a full time job or works multiple jobs and have to post when they can. It’s hard not staying on trend but you just have to do things within your means and timeframe. I am someone who doesn’t create content full time and needs to have a schedule to do things or don’t always have it at the time when people are raving about the new hit thing. I wish I had more time like the other full time creators but I have to work with what I have and do things when I can. Hope you understand what I’m trying to say lol.

Oh and while I am thinking about it, if you are invited to an event and you have never been to something like it, please do your research on the etiquette, dress code, do’s and don’ts. I’ve seen the discourse on the “influencers” at the US Open and not knowing the proper etiquette for an event like that and the dress code. I feel both them and the brand or company that invited them are at fault. If I was invited, I would be doing my research on the proper etiquette and how to dress for the event or asking someone who has attended before. I feel like it should be normal to do so and also if a brand/company is sending out invites and sees that a few of the creators have never been to an event like that, they should of told them about the dress code and how to act as well. I felt that was embarrassing and may mess it up for us to be invited to other events.

So that is all that has been on my mind lately and wanted to share.
