Happy Friday! I absolutely loved that preview of Spring over the past two days. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather outside, detached my son from Fortnight and got him to play outside for a bit lol and just enjoyed nice weather. What I’m not looking forward to is losing an hour of sleep this weekend but longer days of sunshine and warmer weather will be on the way!
Anyway, today I attempted those feed in braids again lol. The last time I tried it, it was a disaster and I pretty much gave up after that. I didn’t want to give up so easily and figure out a way to master this style. Well after watching countless tutorials, I finally got the concept down! I was just so excited and looking forward to continuing practicing and getting better at it. I did learn a couple things while trying this style out:
Be patient – it is so important to have the time to do styles like this and not be in a rush. It may take a couple tries to get it how you want it to look.
Don’t get easily discouraged – it is so easy just to give up when things are not working out, it is going to take patience and encouragement that you can do this. I had to take a couple deep breaths when things started to go left and regroup.
Make sure you hair is fully detangled: This seems like a no brainer but I could of made sure my hair was detangled more. The only time I do so is when I’m washing it but it doesn’t hurt to make sure before completing a style like this.
Have you tried a style like this? Let’s chat! Hope you have a good weekend and see you Tuesday!
