Let’s Talk Skincare…Another Update

Remember these products I talked about last month? I have been using them not so consistently lol but consistent enough to have a review on them. I haven’t used everything pictured but will talk about the ones I have been using.

Biossance Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil:

Main Ingredients

Vitamin C: Helps increase the look of firmness and leaves skin with a radiant glow.
-Squalane: Hydrates while locking in essential moisture.
-Damascus Rose Extract: Awakens the senses and supports healthy-looking radiance.

I knew I was going to fall in love with this 72.00 dollar oil, I just knew it lol. I know you can’t put a price on skincare but lord, this will break the bank lol. I love how lightweight this oil is and how it just melts into the skin. It is not greasy feeling at all and you skin looks amazing the next morning. I may, just may have to set aside some coins for this one.

Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum with Hydrating Honey

Main Ingredients

-14% AHA/BHA/Flower Acid Blend: Exfoliates dead skin cells, targets hyperpigmentation, and helps reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles, helps reduce the appearance of pores, and moisturizes.
-Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and plumps the look of skin by drawing water to the skin, helping to prevent moisture loss.
-Proprietary Honey Blend: Known for its soothing and humectant properties, this special honey provides skin-loving moisture plus antioxidants.

This is another skincare product that I fell in love with and it is pretty pricey. Ugh! I have a love/hate relationship with serums. There are some that I tried and worked really well with my skin and others that broke me out. I debated if serums are really necessary but I think its your preference. I only use serums at night to help rejuvenate and repair my skin. This one has been really good so far and I just love it. This serum is 58.00 dollar which is not too bad.

Fresh Black Tea Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence

Main Ingredients

`-Kombucha (Fermented Black Tea): Helps to smooth, increase luminosity, and protect against pollution and free radicals.
-Hyaluronic Acid: Works to maintain moisture for supple skin.
-Mandarin Peel Extract: Helps promote an even complexion.

I saw Jackie Aina using this product on her IG stories and had to try it for myself. Ummm…I’m obsessed with this essence. I have noticed a difference in how my skin looks and feels since I started using this product. I try to keep my skincare simple with not so many steps and products but this extra step is well worth it. I have the mini size in this and a little bit goes a long way for 32.00 dollars lol.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator

Main Ingredients

-Salicylic Acid: Clears clogged pores, draws out excess oil, promotes cell turn over, and refines skin texture.
-Colloidal Oatmeal: Attracts moisture to skin and locks it in by forming a protective barrier.
-Ginkgo: A natural cleanser that protects the skin and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines; also clears clogged pores and works well for people with sensitive skin.

This is another product that Jackie Aina raved about and I have to say I was two for two on the recommendations. I have heard a lot of great things about this brand and have been wanting to try their products for a while. I picked up the mini size for 15.00 dollars and really love it. The consistency reminds me of the Tatcha rice polish that I tried before. I found that I can’t use too harsh of an exfoliator on my skin and need something less abrasive and gentle. This really gets rid of the dead skin cells and has my skin feeling super soft and smooth.

I will get around to trying the other 2 serums soon but wanted to update on the majority of these skincare items. I haven’t had any problems with what I’ve tried so far and may purchase them again. What skincare items are you loving? Have you tried anything mentioned? Let me know. See you guys Friday with a new YouTube video.
