I picked up some new skincare items about a few months ago that I heard so much about and wanted to try out for myself. I am scared sometimes to try different skincare products because how my skin may react. I do have somewhat sensitive skin and also combination skin (oily T-zone and the rest in normal). I just want my skin to look healthy, youthful and glowing for as long as I can maintain it. I’ve been using these products for long enough so I’m able to review them for you so let’s jump into it.

La Roche-Posay Purifying Foaming Cleanser

I have seen nothing but good things about this cleanser all over social media. I had to pick it up for myself to try out. This cleanser is for oily skin and helps to remove dirt, makeup, excess oil while maintaining the skin barrier.

Key Ingredients:

Ceramide 3 – natural component of the skin barrier

Niacinamide – form of Vitamin B3 with soothing properties

Glycerin -moisturizes and hydrates skin

I really love this facial cleanser. It is so gentle on the skin and does everything it claims. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and doesn’t dry it out either. I started using this for my morning routine but recently switched it to my nighttime routine. I highly recommend this cleanser if you are looking for an everyday gentle one.

Undefined R & R Night Serum

I learned about this Black Owned brand through Youtube watching some of my favorite people. They raved about how amazing this serum is and I just had to try it. Now you know I have a big love/hate relationship with facial serums and this one did not disappoint at all.

Key Ingredients

Bakuchiol – Restorative

Moth Bean – Anti Oxidant

Rose Hip – Brightens

I also love how this brand has clean ingredients and no other harmful products. This night serum is very lightweight and soaks right into the skin. My skin looks so refreshed in the morning when I wake up, I just love it. I’m really interested in trying some of Undefined’s other skincare products because my skin loves this serum so much. Yes I am recommending this one too.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream

I am so glad brands are selling mini sizes of products. I can’t stand spending a lot of money on something and I end up not liking it doesn’t work out. I love minis especially for skincare items and glad I was able to try this Glow Recipe moisturizer. I love the Pink Watermelon one and when I saw this one, I thought my skin would love it and it did lol.

Key Ingredients

Polyglutamic Acid – hydrating peptide to boost the efficacy of hyaluronic acid and lock in moisture

Hyaluronic Acid – blend of multi-weight hyaluronic acid to hydrate skin and keep it looking plump and bouncy

Plum and Ice Willowherb – plum brightens and hydrates while ice willow herb visibly balances skin.

I will say this moisturizer did everything it claimed. My skin was so hydrated, plump and bouncy. I would definitely grab the full size of this moisturizer.
