Black Owned Business Feature: Breukelen Rub

I am so excited for this week! I will be attending BlogHer tomorrow and Thursday in NY. I will be vlogging those two days and have a detailed post on my experience. I’ll also try to be on Insta Stories and Snapchat as well.

Today’s Black Owned Business feature is Breukelen Rub.

I discovered this brand last year at the Think Pink event I attended. I was immediately drawn to them because I love to cook and was interested in trying something new to season my food with. The owners, husband and wife Chef Jamaal Dunlap and Isalia Lebron were super welcoming and friendly. They told me about their start, all about the different seasonings, how to use them and they even had a food demo (and if you know me, I don’t turn down free food lol). I was sold and purchased the one pictured above.

Breukelen Rub was started in 2017 with the inspiration of creating flavors of Brooklyn neighborhoods. I just love the down to earth, family oriented and welcoming vibe of the owners and the story of why they started. I also love the seasoning I purchased, I basically use it on just about everything from vegetables to meats. You know the ingredients that make up each seasoning and it just makes your food taste so good!

You can also attend culinary classes if you visit thier Instagram page (breukelen_rub) for more information. If you would like the purchase one of their seasonings (I highly recommend it) you can visit RIGHT HERE!!

Please go support this Black Owned Business. Have a great start to your week and see you Thursday!!
