2026 2nd Quarter Wellness Goals

I actually started this post for Thursday but I have no clue what happened to it. I’m assuming I didn’t save it but last quarter wasn’t a total fail, just needed to remember the goals I set and just do better with them. I feel like came out with very ambitious goals and needed to start off a little smaller with the goals and build up to them. So let’s get into the ones for the second quarter.

Journal Almost Everyday – Honestly, I can’t guarantee everyday but if I can do at least 4-5 days a week, I’ll be good. I have been in my junk journal from time to time but I feel like journaling more will help so much with all the thoughts I have. Plus I love the stickers and markers I got for my journal to make it more fun.

Limit Meat Consumption – I had this idea to go vegan/vegitarian/plant based/pescatarian for a month but I know myself and just want to be successful at accomplishing goals for once. Plus the cost of food is a lot and I know I’ll have to make separate meals for myself which will be a lot. I don’t have any plans of going full onto eating meat but just want to limit it for this quarter.

Almost Daily Walking/Body Movement – The weather is warmer and seriously need to get back to my daily walks and also moving my body more often. I would normally walk at work which would be a little over a mile (pending the weather) and I also need to get myself back into the gym. I say “almost” because I know myself, things come up, the weather is bad, certain times of month take me out and so on. As long as I move my body or walk majority of the week, this will be a win for me.

I feel like I need to have more attainable goals and not as many to be successful. I’ll check back in with these goals towards the end of the quarter only progress. Also I’m going to be taking a little break from here. I may be back next month or sometime soon but I’ll explain later on. Enjoy!

  1. I have been meat free for almost 10 years and growing up my mom would make the same meals as the family, but leave the meat out of my plate. I still do the same thing now as a vegan and I just add a “main” dish for myself but eat the same sides. It is definitely possible to only have one meal with meat in it per day as well. Forget the labels of “vegan, vegetarian etc”, the rules are your terms B).

I’ve also been trying to walk outside more now that the weather is so nice, my pups have been loving it! My boyfriend even got a cheap walking pad and I can easily walk a couple miles just binge watching my shows haha.

You have great goals! I feel like mine are always super big changes and I get burnt out so quickly because I want instant gratification. Slowing down and enjoying the process of change should be a main goal of mine in life.

Enjoy your break and happy Spring!

    1. Thank you so much! I am just trying to be healthier out here and it is good to not have the labels and just do things that work for you. I would love a walking pad on those bad weather days and yes perfect excuse to binge watch your favorite shows lol!
