3rd Quarter Goal Updates

I can’t believe we are in the 4th quarter of the year. It really does seem like time is flying by a little too fast. My goal this year was to set up my goals quarterly and work on them within that time frame. Since I took my break in September, I didn’t get the chance to update you on my goals from the 3rd quarter. Let’s jump into that now.

Re-evaluate Monthly Budgets and Savings Goals

I’ll be honest, I’ve been struggling with majority of my goals this year but I still continue to work at them, even if it is not in the time frame I want. Attempting to stick to a budget and save has been really hard. I don’t like the part of adulting where you have to pay these bills. Why? They come back every month and are just super annoying lol. It seems like I have more bills than money. I am still working on sticking to my monthly budget and savings goals, its a slow process but I’m still trying.

Work On Weekly Schedules

I feel like I may have a weekly cleaning/laundry schedule down. I am still toying around with it but it seems to be working for me. As for the blogging/editing/filming schedule….that has been a struggle. I think it is my lack of filming space and the time to film. When I get home, I’m in full mom, dog mom and wife mode. I’m not thinking about creating content but at the end of the night, I’m super tired and just over it. I know I will find a way and a schedule to stick to.

Read 3-4 Books

Now this wasn’t a total fail. I got through 2 books which is better than nothing at all. My goal was to read a chapter in the morning and at night, then it turned into reading a chapter everyday and then it was whenever I got around to it. I want to get back into the habit of it and at least finish another couple books next quarter.

Continue Working On Myself

This goal…..I am still working on not putting myself on the back burner. I can’t continue refilling others on empty and forgetting about myself. This is still a work in progress but I’m determined to put myself, my health, mental health and self care first. I really need to.

I would say it wasn’t a total fail because I didn’t give up and kept going. Ev en if the progress was slow, I still kept working on things. I’m proud of myself for that. Tomorrow’s post will be on my goals for the 4th quarter. Have you been sticking to your goals? Let’s chat!
