You know I love discovering small Black Owned Businesses, especially hair brands. I was on Threads one day and I believe I posted about something related to hair and a few brands responded under my post. I started to do my research and liked what I saw from Braid Milk and Honey and decided to purchase something. Typically I like to purchase everything I would need for a full wash day (shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner or hair mask, leave in and stylers). This brand had everything and very reasonably priced. I have used the products a few times already and just love them.

Botanical Cleansing Shampoo

I love a good shampoo and was super impressed when I tried this one out. I need to go back and film with everything but I just really loved how this shampoo cleansed my hair and scalp and didn’t leave my hair feeling stripped or dry at all. A little bit goes a long way and I loved how this really lathered and also smelled amazing (I am big on how products smell if you didn’t notice when I do reviews lol but the entire collection smells so good). This Botanical Cleansing Shampoo is formulated to restore curl patterns, cleanse hair from build up and aid in long lasting moisture. I have used this shampoo a few times and it honestly does what it claims.

Cocoa Boboa Deep Conditioner

Since I’ve had these hair products, this has been reformulated and renamed to the Cruxe Deep Conditioner. This can be used as a regular rinse out conditioner or can be used as a deep conditioner. Of course I used this as deep conditioner and it left my hair feeling super soft and moisturized. I love how the texture of this is smooth and not too thick but it is super hydrating and moisturizing for your hair.

Herbal Hydration Leave In Conditioner

I feel like leave ins are one of my favorite products to use for my hair because they retain the moisture and keep my hair hydrated. I loved this leave in conditioner and wish it came in a bigger container because I used it so fast lol. I loved the smooth and creamy texture of this and just how it felt in my hair.

Lemon Honey Dip Moisturizer

When I used this product for the first time, the scent and the texture of it reminded me of a hair product I used a long time ago but couldn’t put my finger on it. It just brought some nostalgia for me and I loved it. I also wished this product came in a slightly bigger container because I used it like twice and I really love this product. I used this as my styler for a braid out and it really kept my hair moisturized, defined and soft. I loved how this just melted into my hands and my hair.

There is a herbal oil in the picture and I think I just used it once to take down my hair but I need to use it a fee more times to give a review on it but overall I loved everything and still use everything mentioned. I will be repurchasing and keeping these products in rotation. Since I’ve purchased from Braid Milk And Honey, they have added more products, updated the labels and reformulated some of the products.
