
I realized I never updated you all on my wellness journey from the last quarter of 2024. I will admit that I forgot about them as a lot of things were happening but still wanted to update you. I’m not sure if I will continue this series this year but we will see.
Read 2-3 Books – Well I did finish one book that I’ll be reviewing on here soon and I am proud of that. It took a while to finish the book but I did before the end of the year. Reading more is one of my goals for the new year and already finished a book!
Cut Back On Drinking and 60 Day Detox – I will say I did not get to the 60 day detox but would like to do so this year. I did somewhat cut back on the drinking. I didn’t so much during the week and want to do more of that and save it for the weekend.
Working Out – You know, I don’t know what has been so hard for me to work out in 2024. I feel like I may have done so like 2-3 times but proud of myself for all the walking I did when the weather was nice. I am putting a big focus on this in the new year with my health and noticing the weight gain that I’m not so happy about.
Better Eating Habits – I did work on this a bit last year. I made some healthy choices when it came to lunch and attempted to incorporate more fruits and veggies. I was even juicing at one point but I wish I lived in an area that had more healthy food options when it came to eating out and why is a salad like 15 bucks! It is crazy how expensive it is to eat healthy! I am focusing more on this in the new year, especially with having to watch my salt and sugar in take. I want to be more intentional with my diet and what I am putting into my body.
You know, I wouldn’t call the last quarter of last year a total fail. I did the best I could and know I need to improve and do better this year. I may start this series back up in the 2nd quarter of the year, I feel like it helps keep me accountable.
