I was actually supposed to post this last month but I didn’t schedule things so I’m updating it today so I can post about my 4th quarter ones. This 3rd quarter was a little difficult but I feel like I made progress with the goals I set. Let’s get into how I made out last quarter.
Ease My Way Back Into The Gym And Working Out
So I haven’t been back to the gym since I cleared after my surgery but I have been walking whenever I can and also weather permitting. I fully feel back to myself with no lifting restrictions so I am going to continue working on this because I’m determined to have healthier habits and healthier lifestyle.
Work On Changing My Diet And Eating Habits
Listen I don’t know what is even safe to eat anymore since this whole food recall nonsense started. I haven’t had a salad in months and afraid to eat most of the things I wanted incorporate into my diet so that messed up everything. I tried to do the best I could but it was just hard with all the foods we had to avoid. Hopefully things get better so I can continue working on this.
Having An Established Morning/Night Routine
I felt like I did better with the night routine than the morning one because I am truly not a morning person lol. Do you know how many times I hit the snooze button just about every morning and soak up as much sleep as I can before I really have to get up. I had a plan of waking up early to have warm lemon water, journal or meditate, then start my usual routine of brushing my teeth, taking a shower, washing my face, get dressed and have breakfast at home. This happened only a handful of times this quarter which is pretty good but wanted to be more consistent. I have stuck with my night routine as I stated earlier and just proud of myself for that.
So last quarter wasn’t a total fail. I know I was just easing back into things after the surgery but I feel like I made pretty good progress. Stay tuned for the 4th Quarter Wellness goals and I can’t believe we are in the last quarter of the year!
