2026 1st Quarter Wellness Goals

Hey there! I did say in my last post that the quarterly wellness goals will continue in the new year and I feel good about accomplishing them each quarter. I want to change and be a healthier version of myself and just have better habits. So let’s get into these goals for the first quarter of the new year!

Coffee Only On The Weekends, More Tea – I’ve been a coffee drinker since senior year of high school I believe or first year I was in college and have been drinking it just about everyday since then. I don’t think coffee is a bad thing but I would like to start cutting back on it. I’ve been reading about different teas and all the amazing benefits it has. I know this will be a hard one because I am so used to making coffee at home or picking it up on my way to work but I know I can do this.

Have A Set Gym Schedule -I feel like my life is full of schedules lol but it is the only way I can stay on top of things and organized. I’m proud of myself for taking that step and getting back into the gym, just need a set schedule for when I go during the week. Good thing about my gym is that is it 24 hours so you can go when you want and it is close to my house. I don’t see myself going in the middle of the night but just need to figure out if going before or after work would be better or a combination of both.

No Drinking In March – I really need to do these detoxes once a quarter and I know it can be hard with holidays, celebrations, birthdays (mine is this month lol) but I love to see mocktail options in restaurants now. They shouldn’t be as much as regular alcohol drinks but I love that they look like them but just without the alcohol.

No Rice/Pasta/Bread -Healthier Options – Now this may be a hard one because I eat all of these on a daily and weekly basis. I had to do some research on the healthier options of all of these and loved what I discovered. I know it will be a lot to cook these things separate for me but I feel like it will be a good thing and maybe my family will join in (probably not my son lol). Hopefully I find some favorites that are good and much better for me.

So I will check back in at the end of the quarter to let you know how I made out and will have the next set of wellness goals.
