We are so close to closing out the current year and welcoming in the new year. I’m excited for a fresh start in the new year and had this idea of a December Reset. I believe I tried to do something like this a few months ago and didn’t even start it so now is a good time. I feel like I would be finishing out 2025 on a good note and also starting off 2026 on a good note as well. I just feel like I’m moving into a season where I am moving away from things and people that don’t value me and I don’t feel valued being in those spaces. I just want things to be more peaceful and calm moving forward. So let’s get into this reset.
Limit Coffee To The Weekends, More Tea – I know this is going a difficult one to start out with because I’ve been an avid coffee drinker for years. I start off my day with coffee and sometimes will have more than one cup a day. I’ve seen a lot of discourse on coffee and all but I still love it so much. There are so many benefits to drinking different teas so figured I would incorporate more of it in my everyday life.
No Fried Foods Or Fast Foods – Listen Chick Fil A is my default place when I can’t figure out what I want for lunch during the week lol. I know this may a bit of a challenge but I know I can do this. There are healthier choices out there to eat and I can also bring my lunch to work (which I need to work on lol).
More Fruits and Veggies – I’ve realized that I haven’t been eating the best lately and haven’t been eating fruits and veggies like I used to. I would buy fruits and veggies and they would go bad because we forgot about them. This would help me get the vitamins and nutrients I need and also make for better eating habits.
No Drinking For Majority Of The Month – I know I’ve been trying and failing at this during the course of the year. I’ve focused and have done this before so I know I can do this again.
Going To The Gym Multiple Times During The Week – I actually stepped foot in the gym and it felt really good! I did have the idea of working out everyday in December but needed to be more realistic. As long as I make to the gym a few times a week, I’ll be happy!
I’m excited for detoxing, refreshing and reseting. I really need this and just hoping to start healthier habits and just shifting in a positive direction. I will have an update towards the end of the month on how I made out with everything.
