I know this isn’t my usual posting day and I’m supposed to be on a break but seeing the results from the election….. I was honestly really disappointed and was hoping for change. I really wanted to see our first Woman president. Do you know how historical that would of been? It would of been just everything to little girls and women everywhere to see that we can be president. We can do anything. But it seems like this country doesn’t want a woman in office. I just can’t believe that man was elected again. The emotions that ran through my body and my brain when I saw that. I don’t know how to describe how I’m feeling. I’m scared what is to come. I’m scared as a Black woman raising a son. I’m scared for my husband. I’m scared for my family and friends. I’m scared for any other nationality and people of color. I’m just scared. We don’t know what will happen and all we can do now is pray at this point.
