
We are back to the work week and hopefully everyone had a great weekend. I just ran some errands with the family, washed my hair, filmed a couple videos for Youtube and attended a bridal shower which was so much fun. I haven’t been to a bridal shower in a long and loved the flower bar that was at the shower. You had flowers and greenery to chose from to make your own little bouquet which was such a nice touch to the shower. You could pick up to 5 stems and I love the one I made.


Now on to what I did for self care lately. I’m still heavily into my music whenever I’m feeling stressed or anything. I also started listening to music when I wash my hair and sometimes when I’m showering. I know I can’t really blast it too loud in the morning but I want to start listening to music while I get ready for work. It would help start the day on a good note and in a positive way.

The other day I had to work out of another location that is about an hour away. I was driving back, tired of being in the car due to the traffic so I went to Starbucks and got my favorite drink, grabbed some fries from Chick Fil A and sat in the parking lot and enjoyed two of my favorite things. It was so relaxing and I loved it. I had some quiet time to myself and just enjoyed the moment I was in.

I’ve also been enjoying a lot of time outside in my backyard. I just love being outside whenever the weather is so nice. It is just so peaceful outside where you can clear your mind and just listen to nature and whatever is outside.

Seems like I did so much for myself lately and just looking forward to what I can do for self care next. What have you done for self care lately? Let’s chat!
