My First Philly Fashion Week 2026

Going to a Fashion Week has been on my list for a long time and finally had the chance to attend Philly Fashion Week this past week. As close as I live to the area, I’ve never been or missed out on getting tickets or there was a conflicting event during that week. I saw that Philly Influencer Mixer was asking for those who wanted to attend and I was hesitant at first to put in for it but I’m glad I did. I was able to attend the grand opening of a new space and a fashion show so let’s recap.

Listen, I was in my head about what to wear because the girlies and guys always come correct and dressed, okay! I know for one event I had to shop my closet but wanted something else for the fashion show. I just wanted to make sure I was on point because it’s fashion week…hello! It is hard sometimes for me to find things in the store because it seems like the online shops are taking over and have everything. It just seems like the stores can’t keep up with the fast fashion and makes me miss stores like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe! I could always find something for any occasion and event there! They has clothes, accessories, shoes and bags…I miss them bad.

Okay so let’s get into this recap lol. Philly Fashion Week started off with the grand opening of Vault XXVII. It is a brand new space by the creators of Philly Fashion Week and it was such a good time. I was racking my brain about what to wear but figured it out. They had 2 catering companies with amazing food, previews of the week, words from the owners and more. I got there a little late as I was looking for parking but I really enjoyed myself. I can’t wait to see how they develop the space and come back at a future time ( I’ll be back in October for an event lol).

I attended Runway I and it did not disappoint at all. I don’t think I’ve been to a fashion show before but I was super excited to attend and see all the designs. I have to say I did so good with what wore because I got so many compliments ( I was nervous for some reason) and need to go shopping at Zara more often. And note to self: wear comfortable heels because I didn’t realize the amount of standing I would be doing and my feet were killing me at the end of the night.

I was excited to sit front row at the show and was able to get really good video and photos of everything. We saw 7 collections and everything was absolutely gorgeous! I took a lot of pictures and video to capture everything but I saw a lot of pieces that needed to be in my closet lol. Every collection presented was so unique and just amazing, I love everything. Also love they had fashion for men and women.Overall it was an amazing fashion show and can’t wait for next year.

I hope I get to enjoy more events next year or attend everything the entire week. I will definitely be back next year. I also hope to someday make it up to New York Fashion Week sometime soon. Have you ever attended a fashion week before? Let’s chat!
