Winter is officially here and in full effect. It is around the time of the fashion weeks to start and I still have not been to NYFW yet or any fashion week yet. I like to look at what is trending for each season and try to incorporate them into my wardrobe and looks for the season. Let’s get into what is trending for Winter.

Boot Cut Jeans
I feel like jeans are always going to be in season because they go with everything and are so versatile. It seems like a different cut of jean is trending each season and for Winter it is boot cut. I can see why is is on trend because we do wear boots around this season and need the jeans to go with them. I actually need to get some jeans myself and will be looking to get some boot cut ones.
Funnel Neck Jackets and Coats
It is very cold outside and the funnel neck of the jacket or coat will keep your neck nice and warm. I love this style of jacket, it is just so chic and timeless to me. It also serves the purpose of keeping you warm as well. I would definitely get a coat or jacket in this style.
Faux Suede
It also seems like every season, something faux is always trending. I haven’t worn anything suede in so long, I may have to jump on this trend. Suede look so good and can be styled with just about any pattern or different texture of fabric.
Slouchy Tailoring
I love a good slouchy shirt or pant and this trend is so fun and reminds me of the 80s. I would love a good slouchy blazer or shirt to pair with maybe the faux suede trend or something else.
Kitten Heel Boots
No wonder boot cut jeans are trending, you need them for the kitten heeled boots. Now I’m not a fan of a shorter heels as I love to wear 4-6 inch heels but I may give this trend a try. I don’t know, I just was never a fan of the kitten heel but it does look cute when other people wear them.
Along with the fashion trends, I saw that deep neutral colors such as browns and beiges paired with bright chili red, navy or metallic colors are trending. I love mixing and match colors that compliment each other and think this color scheme is so fun. I definitely have some of the dark neutrals but would love to pair them with the other colors.
These are only some the Winter trends that I found floating around but think they are so much fun and would love to attempt a few of them. Do you follow the fashion trends each season or just go with your own? Would you try any of these trends? Let’s chat.
