As you are reading this post, it is my actual birthday and I’m thankful for another year of life. Getting older isn’t too bad but it is a little scary as you creep up there in age. I’m just thankful for the lessons learned along the way and for also sticking by never working on my actual birthday. I know some people may not like their birthday if it is tied to traumatic experience or just don’t like celebrating but you are blessed with another year of life and should not be in the office or in front of a computer at all. I normally take a week off or a long weekend but never work on my birthday.
It can be hard for me to plan anything because my birthday is in the middle of Winter and never know what weather I may get. It usually snows on my birthday but the past couple ones have not been too bad. I honestly want to just enjoy the time off and enjoy seeing another year of life.
This year I just want to continue to grow and evolve into a better version of myself and also healthier.
