2026 Personal And Creator Goals

I had to put this GIF because it’s so funny lol but Happy New Year! We made it to a new year, chapter 1 of 12. For some reason I’m really excited about this year and everything it will bring. So I had my vision board and goals already set but it just felt like something was missing. I was just sitting one day and the word elevate came to me and then thought about my goals and then my words for the year came to me. This year my words are elevate, alignment and discipline. They really resonate with my goals and what I am trying to accomplish this year. I also thought about how last year went and how I needed to make improvements this year. So let’s get into these goals and you may want to grab a snack while reading.

Personal Goals

Heavy Focus on The Finances – I really didn’t do so well with this goal last year and really want to get out of this bad cycle I have with money. I was good on my savings goal but then an unexpected expense came up and it was hard to build it back up. I plan on looking back on my spending habits last year and see how I can improve on them this year and use it to set my budget that I really didn’t stick to last year. I’m also putting a heavy focus on saving and being more financially responsible. I just want a better relationship with money and to be in a better financial place this year.

Continue Taking Better Care Of Myself – This is going to be an ongoing thing with taking care of myself physically and mentally. I’m proud of myself for getting back into the gym and just need to continue building on that. I want to take better care of myself from the inside out and also from the outside in. I have been looking into my eating habits and making changes to my diet and what I eat on a daily basis. My quarterly wellness goal series will continue this year to help with that.

I also need to really focus on my mental health because it was a lot last year. I need to make my way back to therapy and stop putting myself on the back burner. I struggled with defining self care and actually practicing it.

Establish Healthier Habits – This ties in with continuing to take better care of myself. I didn’t have good habits with eating and sticking to my schedules. I just want to make better choices and just overall be better this year.

Read 10 Books – I don’t think I met my goal last year but proud of myself for reading last year and just want to continue. I’m still working on my list of books to read but still reading a book from last year that I should hopefully finish soon. I know I can’t commit to daily reading now but as long as I do read a few times a week, I’ll be happy.

Find A Hobby – I also didn’t get to this one last year and really want to find a hobby for myself. I did buy a journal to start junk journaling and also trying out other things for a hobby.

Creator Goals

Have Established Creator Schedule – This had to be number on my list of creator goals. I struggled so much with this and really need to lock in and create a schedule to make things easier. I had to think about everything that goes into creating content for social media, the blog and YouTube. It kinda seems like a lot but once I actually broke it down, most of t was the same like taking pictures, brainstorming and creating graphics to name a few. I did start drafting schedules to try out to see what will work.

New Camera – I think it is time for a new camera for filming and also taking pictures. I started doing my research sometime last year and think I did narrow down a few cameras I wanted to purchase. Once I get my budget set, I can make a savings goal for this camera and would love it before the end of the year.

Elevate Content – I know I can be doing a better job at how I present and create my content. This ties into what last year taught me about not really using my full potential. I know once I have this creator schedule in place, I’ll take the time for the content so it can be better.

Be More Consistent – I noticed that a lot of my goals tie into each other and one won’t work without having the others in place. I feel like I need to be more consistent on these platforms so I am seen more. Again this ties into the creator schedule being in place so I can be more consistent.

Grow My Community/Following – The point of being on social media is to actually be social. I know I can be more engaging online and support others more. I feel like the only way to grow and build your community is to engage with others and be more social. Also being more consistent helps as well. Here are my stats at the beginning of this year and will update when I do my recap: IG – 1,065 followers, TikTok – 485 followers, YouTube 395 subscribers.

So that is it for my 2026 Personal and Creator goals. I’m super excited about putting everything into motion and seeing how things turn out. I’ll probably do a halfway point check in. Did you set your goals for this year? Let’s chat.
