
Self Care…..I know I haven’t updated you all on what I’ve been doing for Self care lately and honestly it has been on the backburner for a while. I had every intention to practice it more often and start putting myself first more often and to stop pouring from an empty cup but life just happened. Besides my usual go to self care acts of silent car rides, listening to music and my therapy sessions (which I need to book another session before the end of the year) I haven’t done anything else.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to be more intentional with my self care. I have learned that self care for me is not locking myself in the bathroom and doing a nighttime skincare routine which I should be doing every night anyway or having to stay up late or wake up early for some quiet time in the house. Self care should be very intentional and benefit you in a positive way.
I’ll be working on this more going into the new year. How can I be more intentional with my self care? What self care acts can I incorporate more for myself and make sure it is impactful?
