
Right now as I am typing this blog post, I am eating ice cream and watching one of my favorite shows, Living Single while everyone else in the house (including the dog) is upstairs and hopefully sleeping lol. This is self care to me, doing the little things that bring me joy. Lately I’ve been craving a lot of quiet time and that can be hard sometimes. I have been doing a lot of silent car rides in the morning commute to work. It does help with starting the day off right and in a peaceful way.
Besides what I am doing now, the silent car rides and music, there hasn’t been much self care on my end. Oh I have been reaching for my journal when I need to but not a lot of self care on my end. I know I really need more of it and I’m working on that.
