
So I really needed all the self care this month…all of it lol. And I am proud of myself for carving out time for myself to take care of me and refuel myself. It was really needed with everything that has been going on.
I have been doing a lot of silent car rides to and sometimes from work. It has been really calming to me since work has been a little stressful lately, it is good to start of the day with. Also for some reason, I’ve been craving a lot of alone and quiet time. It can be hard to achieve that sometimes but it is possible. Of course I have my usual go to self care of music and sitting outside since it is nice out (well when it is not too hot out).
I have also been back to journaling just about everyday. It really helps clear my mind of a lot of thoughts and also a place to vent and complain about things because I really am trying not to complain about things so much, that’s why I have the journal. It really has been helping so much to clear my mind.

I also started in my coloring book that I got from Target. It is so relaxing to me to sit and pick out a color scheme and just focus on that. It helps block out the outside noise, overwhelming thoughts and just something that is fun and relaxing. It seems like these pages take a little bit to color but it feels good when you finish. I’ve completed one page so far and started another one. I do have other coloring books once I finish this one to start and I want to continue doing this.


July was a pretty successful month with the self care and want to continue moving forward. It just feels good to have things for myself that help with the stresses of the day. I do want to find more self care acts to do and other fun things. What do you like to do for self care? Lets chat.
