I like to test out and use things for a while before bringing you guys the reviews. You can use something once and love it but you have to keep using it to get the full experience with a product and if it does what it claims to do. I feel like after using a product for a while, you can give a fair review if it is supposed to improve something in x amount of days or claims to brighten or clear up blemishes or make you skin softer. You have to use the product until you can prove the claims to be true or false.

Back in April, Shwaxx sent over their new launch of products including some body care items. I was so excited to try everything. I started out with the hair products of course and kinda took my time with reviewing the whole body washes and body balm. I was sad to see that Shwaxx abruptly started the process of shutting down last month. I debated on doing this review because you wouldn’t be able to get your hands on any of the products if you were interested but I still wanted to at least post my review. I have been working with Shwaxx for while and grateful I had the opportunity to work with such an amazing brand and wish them all the best. So let’s get into these reviews.

I love how some of these body care items are multi-functional. Not only can you use it on your body but you could use them for your hair or beard for men. I love a good multi purpose product. I didn’t get a chance to use them in my hair but have tried each of the 3 Whole Body Washes and the Whole Body balm. I have to say that everything smells amazing and love how each body wash has a different benefit and designed for different skin types.

I’ll start with my favorite scent of the bunch, the Lotus Flower Extract, Pink Sea Salt and Prickly Pear Oil. After reading the description online, I didn’t realize this one is a gentle lightweight scrub. It has a luxurious lather that cleanses and softens the skin leaving it feeling supple and nourished. I really loved the scent of this one and think I have to use it again to get that light scrub. It’s probably that gentle that I didn’t even feel it but my skin did feel super soft.

The Vitamin E and Honey whole body wash is designed for dry skin. It helps to hydrate and volumize skin cells by effectively locking in moisture for skin that feels soft and has a spa-like radiance. I have to say this one really hydrated and moisturized my skin while smelling amazing. It pairs really well with the body balm that I’ll talk about in a little bit but this one is really amazing for hydrating the skin.

Lastly the Activated Black Charcoal body wash is designed for deep cleaning the skin by helping to remove dirt and sweat while revitalizing skin and keeps it feeling refreshed throughout the day. The activated charcoal is like a magnet that attracts and eliminates impurities and leaves the skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. I really love how this really gets the skin clean and keeps its hydrated and soft. You can also use this as a shampoo for your hair or for your beard. I haven’t tried it yet but I most likely will try it soon.

Now to lock in that moisture and keep your skin hydrated, the whole body body balm helps to prevent dryness, coat, soothe, protect and nourish the skin. It locks in moisture and long lasting hydration. I love the texture and consistency of this balm. It is not too thick but thick enough for the skin. It absorbs right in, doesn’t feel greasy or get all overt your clothes. It does keep your skin moisturized and hydrated all day and I love it.

So that is it for they Shwaxx review. I’m still sad that they are no longer in production because all of the products I’ve tried from the brand have been so amazing, especially these body care items. I’ll be sad when I use them up because I won’t be able to get my hands on them again.
