Happy New Year everyone!! We made to a new year and I’m excited and thankful for making it to another year. I hope everyone enjoyed their new year if you didn’t have to work on New Year’s Day. I should have taken off the day after because I’m not ready to go back to work lol. To be honest, I forgot about the goals I set for last year lol and a lot of them have moved over into this year. Also I realized I set way too many goals for myself in 2023…guess I was feeling really ambitious lol but I know not to set so many goals at once. Let’s get into this update lol

Grow On All Social Media Platforms – I did grow some on my social media platforms, not to 1K like I wanted but I am carrying that goal into 2024.

Be More Engaging On Social Media– Now this was a hard one at times because I spend majority of my day at work and barely get many breaks as it is. I can only be engaging in the morning and sometimes when I get home from work. I know I need to work on this more so this will be carried over as well into 2024.

Create Blogging Schedule – Now I did create a schedule but didn’t follow it so well lol. I just want to get out of the habit of blogging or filming and editing the night before(like I am doing right now..ugh). I want to work on this more this year because I see the potential in the schedule I made.

Collaborate With Other Creators/Bloggers – I really didn’t do much of this in 2023. I just felt some type of way because of the amount of followers I have compared to who I wanted to collaborate with and then how much better their content is and just got in my head. I really want to focus and just ask to collaborate more.

Collaborate/Pitch To Brands – Now I did get to work with some brands in 2023 that I am super grateful for (Uncle Funky’s Daughter and Sainte Nel). I am still scared to pitch to brands for some reason but I will get over that fear for 2024.

Purchase New Camera – Listen the way 2023 was set up with these bills and stuff….I didn’t save as I needed to for the camera I wanted. Soooo I’ll be working on this for 2024.

Find Dedicated Space To Film – I am still filming in my bathroom for all videos. I did film in my dining room a couple times but I do need to figure out a space to film.

Try New Things/Learn New Filming/Editing Techniques and Photography – I did somewhat try new things, didn’t dabble in too much learning new techniques but definitely want to dive more into this in 2024.

Take Better Care Of Myself – This is still a work in progress but I did get my doctor appointments last year that I am really proud of. I wasn’t too happy about the multiple dentist appointments and root canals I had but I’m thankful for making those appointments. I started a wellness journey and it was a total struggle but determined to get back on track this year.

Be Financially Responsible – I feel like this was the hardest goal for me in 2023. I fought so much with setting a budget, saving and all with the income I have currently. It was so hard but I got through it. I will continue working on this in 2024.
