
I feel this time around the self care was focused on creating healthy habits for myself and setting myself up for success. Of course I’m still listening to music when I need to and attempting to have quiet time but I’ve been really focused on long term self care.
I started back on drinking water everyday. I used to drink 64 oz a day (half gallon) and just fell off. I notice a difference when I don’t drink water consistently vs when I do. I just want to take better care of myself from the inside out. In the last self care post, I started taking my vitamins again which I am still doing everyday. I got this water jug from Dick’s Sporting Goods and of course I had to get the one in pink lol. This is 32 oz and wanted to start off with one of these a day and work my way to refilling it for a second time during the day. So far, I’ve been doing well with getting through this during the day.

I also have been visiting the dentist like I am supposed to lol. I had to go for a few appointments for a root canal and a few cavities to fill. I’m glad I found a dental office that I love and I’m not scared of. I love that they explain what is going on when I am there and just make sure I am in the know. Please don’t lapse with the dentist or any healthcare. I know I need to book a couple more appointments and I’ll be good.
I have been sticking to my budget which has been so hard lol. I didn’t realize how much excessive spending I was doing and it was really eye opening. It has been hard not going to Target every week…yes I had to cut out the weekly Target trips lol and just spending on things. It is hard being a creator and you want to keep up with popular products but I had to realize my budget and expenses are different. I’m proud of myself so far for saving, paying bills and expenses, being more price conscious and having the restraint to not shop outside the budget. I actually had to put myself on a no buy and only purchase when I am completely out of a products. This has been really hard but I needed this discipline to get it together.
I also have been setting healthy habits by making sure the kitchen is clean every night, setting my clothes out for work the night before and and just making sure everything is set for the next day. I was doing this before and just fell off. I just want to establish good habits and routines so I’m not slacking or feel guilty about not doing things.

Just feeling really proud of myself for just working on taking better care of myself and doing things for myself. I love that for myself so I can be better. What healthy habits are you establishing for yourself? Let’s chat.
